Why getting a dog and a job makes it hard to blog regularly.

Hi there, Cloud.

I've had a dog for almost a week now, and let me tell you, it's harder than it looks.

He doesn't look like he's be any work at all... but he is. Walks and feedings and loving... it's a full time job.

His name is Oliver. He's a chihuahua/dachshund mix and look at that face. It's the cuteist face. He's a really good dog, 99.9% of the time. He's very protective of James and me. He follows us around all the time.

I also got a job at Walgreens. It's not fun, but it's money. It's also not what I want to be doing, but again, it's money.

So, with a dog, a job, school starting on Monday, and a dying social life, it's hard for me to find time to sit down and write words for you to read. I'm sorry if you feel that I've misled you. I'll still blog, just probably not as often as you'd expected.

Thanks for the loyalty, readers. I appreciate it.

If you have any time management tips you think I'd benefit from, please leave them in a comment. I enjoy hearing back.

Lauren

PS. Speaking of that job, I have to go to work now. It never ends.

  1. Oliver is co cute! I think it is wonderful that he has adopted you and James. Life is all about time management. An inspirational speaker for the support staff at the district once told us, "You have plenty of time to do everything--it is how you choose to use your time that is the indicator of how much you will get done." I didn't think it was all that inspirational, but the words " how you choose to use your time" come back to haunt me when I don't get something done that I know "I should have/would have/could have" if I hadn't chosen to do something else with my time.
